-reg Petrol, Owner for 3 to 5 years

4.6 HSE converted to LPG . The cost of running this vehicle has been similar to a 2 litre petrol auto. When I purchased this car itm had a number of faults which were easily cured. This vehicle was used as daily transport commuting from home to school on school days [ Round trip of about 40 miles] and at least two journeys to the south of France trips of around 2500 miles. I repeat reasonably good on fuel cost approvimately 30mpg on cost equivalent on LPG and extremely comfortable for four people and their luggage.

Gorgeously comfortable, lots of power, extremely cheap to run on LPG however, usual Old Range Rover problem, overheating. Due to the LPG having been fitted, the standard Land Rover garage cant work on the engine.

Have been witout it for two weeks so far, am a little dissapointed but I was aware of possible problems so its not the end of the world. I must say though, its alot nicer than having to catch 5 busses a day. This evening I had to walk 2.5 miles in the snow. I still love it though, just needs some TLC.

LandRover RangeRover. Very expensive tractors.
Can't help but love them & hate them. The comfort and joy of driving these 2+ton masters of 4X4 seems to out weigh the bloody annoying expence of keeping it running. But no doubt one day I'll be out priced, out of cash flow and out of petrol. Hello electric.

I love it. It's a bit old now, at ten years and 106,000 miles, and a few things need tightening up but, hey, I'm the same. My next car will be the newer model Range Rover, still petrol and still V8. It's what I like and there's nothing like it.

Excellent long distance vehicle - best I have owned. Difficult to park. Newer model with rear camera probably much easier. Fuel consumption is poor but with low mileage this matters less.

High running costs, but surprisingly easy to maintain if you are reasonably useful home mechanic. Great car to drive, especially in bad weather.

Very comfortable, reliable with the exception of one small fault, which was fixed at the dealer. Dealer service very good, but not cheap.
