Very practical car, with fold flat rear seats. Diesel makes it fairly economical. CVT automatic gearbox makes it easy to drive in traffic and fun on the open road using the Tiptronic function, which includes Cruise Control.
Comfortable but firm suspension gives it reasonable handling. Parking sensors are a useful afterfit addition.
The on board computer allows you to access a lot of driver information, and to programme certain functions in or out of service.

Excellent allrounder. There is plenty of space, in a very small package, and the ride is comfortable, if a bit jiggly at times on some of our poorer roads.
The 1.8 engine combined with the auto box is a superb combination. The engine never has to rev hard and there is sufficient power to keep up with the traffic without having to push hard. Nicely weighted steering and good brakes make up a strong package which, at present, has no apparent competition.

The A-class is a very practical, reliable car with a reasonable ride and great safety. I had a new C-class for 8 years, which I enjoyed, but I had to downsize. The A-class is a more sensible purchase and meets my current needs. I have the auto version which works well, even if the ride could be better on country roads. Service from the Mercedes main dealer has been superb. I would definitely buy another Mercedes.

My car has exceaded my expectations, it is extreamly practicle and a joy to live with in London, Ideal for parking. It is very stylish and comfortable and respected by other moterist (no problem in pulling out) Its CVT gear box has made it a very smoth car and can cruses on moterways very well

Well built inside & out with a versatile load area. The 'sandwich' floor gives a elevated seating position & is safe in a crash. Comfotable & roomy for 4 adults. 1.8 ltr diesel engine gives good performance & decent fuel economy.

These new A Class' are so much improved over the first offering. I have owned 4 so far and they just get better. It is so practical and with CVT easy to drive without loosing economy over a manual. Good stuff

Decievingly spacious and practical; makes quite a 'cool' student car. Its easy and smooth to drive, while motorway driving is also comfortable due to engine position. Pity about the stiff suspension

A fabulously practical car, beautifully built. Over a foot shorter than a Golf, with more interior space than my BMW 5-series. Best seats I've ever had.
