Independent Chinese car maker looks to make its mark on Shanghai show with 37 models, three theme parks as well as two interactive experience zones.

This year, independent Chinese car manufacturer Geely will be present at its homeland motor show under a banner featuring a slogan proclaiming “Quality Geely”. The producer has turned up in force at this year’s show too, with some 37 models on display but more impressively it has managed to construct three theme parks as well as two interactive experience zones, allowing audiences to witness its latest R&D achievements.

With 415,000 cars produced in 2010, Geely is now one of China’s top 10 manufacturers and despite being only 13 years old, its total assets are already in excess of £3.2billion. The plan is now to start competing for overseas customers, with the ultimate goal of "making Geely a globally competitive brand by 2015".
