Dacia is getting ready to take the UK market by storm! The Renault-owned manufacturer will launch a range of cars here in 2012, starting with its recently-unveiled crossover, the Duster.
In Europe, the Romanian manufacturer has sold over 1.25million vehicles in the last five years and- with a 91 per cent sales increase in 2009 - continues to grow thanks to a blend of practicality and budget price-tags.
Roland Bouchara, Renault UK's managing director said: “With value-for-money, downsizing, fuel economy and emissions all becoming increasingly important, we want to show that Dacia can appeal to the head, the heart and the wallet."
The Duster will be introduced towards the end of 2012 and will cost around £11,000 in entry-level two-wheel drive guise. Following that Dacia will release an all-new Logan in saloon and estate variants.

It would seem to me that this is like finding an unused 2004 Ford Escape or 2002 X-Trail in someone's back shed and paying 11,000 pounds for it. Old and basic technology, styling and comfort at a cheap price.
