The Ferrari FF has opened its doors. These are the first shots of the 4WD newcomer’s interior – and they reveal a spacious, luxurious layout.
The shooting brake-style body allows room for a 450-litre boot that’s capable of holding a pair of large bags and two sets of golf clubs. Plus, the rear seats can be folded to free up 800 litres of room.
As with the 458 Italia, the FF gets a button-laden steering wheel that houses controls for the traction control, indicators and ignition. Unlike that car – in which the sat-nav screen and major functions are all angled towards the driver – the FF has a more passenger-friendly layout. Ferrari even offers an optional read-out built into the dash in front of their seat, which allows them to see statistics such as speed.
Bosses also announced that the optional HELE stop-start set-up will now be available on the 458 Italia, as well as on the FF and California. The system – which costs around £1,000 – transforms the 458 Italia into the cleanest car in its class: it cuts emissions from the regular model’s 307g/km to 275g/km.
