Modified hybrid charges in with 300bhp blown engine and outrageous bodykit

April 2011

From wallflower to party animal! That's the transformation made by the Lexus CT 200h – thanks to modifying expert Brian Fox.

He's produced this bodykitted, uprated hybrid, which made an appearance at the New York Motor Show. It packs a 1.8-litre hybrid engine with a boosted battery system – and a supercharger! The result is a combined output of 300bhp, which should be enough punch for a 0-60mph time of under six seconds.

In addition to the extra performance, there's a wild bodykit, covered in a water-based flip paint, 20-inch alloy wheels and 13-inch brake discs. It's just a one-off concept for now, but could provide hints at an upcoming 'F'-badged performance variant of the CT 200h.
