Held for the first time back in 1900, the New York Motor Show was North America’s first ever motor show. Today, it features the largest public attendance of any show in the US, ensuring that it is worth a visit.
Held in the Jacob Javits Convention Center in the heart of Manhattan, the New York Show prides itself for showing “virtually every make and model sold in the US under one roof…”
That means plenty of new car debuts from both the home US carmakers and those from Europe and Asia, plus some more weird and wonderful creations, like the driveable aeroplane and Morgan 3 Wheeler which were both shown in 2012.
This year's event will open to the public on 29 March and will run until 7 April. But before then, there are two press days and Auto Express is reporting live from the show floor, with all the latest news, pictures and videos.
The highlights so far have been the all-new Range Rover Sport, which was unveiled on the eve of the show with a little help from Daniel Craig. We've also seen the all-new Kia Soul, the Mercedes CLA 45 AMG, a string of new Volvo R-Design models and a £130k Jaguar XKR-S GT. But many more new cars and concepts will be revealed over the coming days, and we'll have all the details for you here…
