It's not only the Kangoo which has had a makeover - Renault’s Scenic compact MPV has also gone under the knife.
While the changes to the van-based model are far-reaching, the styling tweaks on the revised Scenic are much more subtle. Our spies caught the new model out on test.
Reflecting the changes to the facelifted Mégane, which appeared last year, the main upgrades are most noticeable at the front, where the grille has been brought up to date with black trim and a more prominent Renault badge.
At the rear, designers have made minor tweaks to the bumper on both the five-seat Scenic and seven-seat Grand Scenic. Inside, trim quality is improved, while equipment levels are also set to be revamped.
Fitting into Renault’s grand plan to revise its entire range over the next three years, the new Scenic and Grand Scenic line-up will go on sale in the UK by the end of 2006.
