Nissan Z goes power crazy!

Meet the dark destroyer... of Porsches. This is the hardcore 375bhp Nissan 350Z GT-S, which will debut at this week's Good-wood Festival of Speed.

It's been specially developed by the firm's UK arm, and although it's currently a one-off, insiders say the car could go on sale next year, priced around £40,000.

Under the bonnet lies a supercharged version of the 350Z's 3.5-litre V6 engine, delivering a 0-60mph time of 4.8 seconds and a 160mph top speed. The GT-S gets stiffened and lowered suspension, bigger disc brakes and 18-inch alloy wheels wrap-ped in wider rubber to cope with the extra performance.

As you can see from our picture, the GT-S is distinguished from lesser models by an aggressive black bodykit with bulging wheelarches. The extra air vents, deep front splitter and boot spoiler help improve the car's aerodynamics to enhance grip and stability at high speeds.
