Cut-price deals on Subaru

They may be quick cars - but they're clearly not going fast enough for their manufacturers' tastes. Sports car brands Subaru and Caterham are offering a range of incredible incentives in a bid to tempt UK drivers.

Anyone buying a Subaru before the end of September gets £3,000 worth of fuel vouchers - equivalent to up to two years' motoring. The deal applies to Impreza WRX and STis, the Legacy Spec B saloon and Tourer 2.5-litre versions of the rugged Forester. All other new Subarus come with £1,000 of free petrol.

"Recent increases in fuel bills have made motorists in this country even more cost-conscious," explained Subaru UK boss Peter Kinnaird. "Our offer will help shield customers from the current high prices."

Meanwhile, British firm Caterham is offering zero per cent finance on all new 7 Classic, Roadsport and Superlight models. That means entry-level machines are now available for £399 per month over two years, with a £3,374 deposit. What's more, the maker has introduced 12 months' free RAC breakdown cover on all its new and second-hand cars.
