Specialist Lotus ready to take on top teams in downhill challenge

Here's a Lotus that's more soap bar than supercar! The Type 119 will compete in the annual Brooklands Soapbox downhill race on 16 July, and it looks certain to clean up.

Altogether there will be 15 teams taking part at the Surrey circuit, including a Vauxhall VXR challenger. A Lotus spokesman predicted: "It's going to be a close race."
