Off-roader in no-Sho threat

Customers waiting for the new Mitsubishi Shogun might have to hang on longer than expected.

The firm's UK boss has warned he will delay the planned launch of the heavily revised off-roader until every one of the current models is sold.

The car will debut at September's Paris Motor Show, and is due on sale from 1 March. But managing director Jim Tyrell confessed he's prepared to push that back. Staff have been promised bigger bonuses to shift the existing machines.
