The Government is planning to introduce new motorway signs that give detailed traffic information.

It's part of a Highways Agency bid to cut journey times. The signs will tell drivers how long trips to popular destinations will take. The scheme should be running by the end of summer, but there are no details which routes will have the signs yet.
