Copycat exec Mercs its mark

Don't be fooled by the Mercedes-style grille or Nine­ties S-Class underpinnings - this is the latest executive model from SsangYong.

The Korean brand could even sell the reskinned car here alongside its Rodius MPV and Rexton and Kyron SUVs.

It isn't the first SsangYong to be based on a Merc­edes saloon. The firm already offers the Chairman model, which sits on the platform of the previous-generation E-Class, but isn't imported to the UK.
