Stereo's spec appeal

Audio giant Clarion has launched a new addition to its in-car entertainment range

Upmarket audio giant Clarion has launched a new addition to its in-car entertainment range in the shape of a feature-packed CD tuner/head unit. And at £120, it will sound as good to your wallet as it does to your ears!

The new DXZ368RMP may be at the budget end of the car audio specialist’s line-up, but there’s nothing frugal about its specification. With support for MP3 and WMA music files recorded on CD, it allows up to 12 hours of tunes to be played from a single disc.

There’s also a three-band radio tuner with 24 station pre-sets, a detachable security panel and it can be connected to an Apple iPod or other MP3 device if you buy the optional £85 CeNet MP3 kit.

This can be used to control other systems, including TV and DAB tuners and CD or DVD changers, via a remote which includes a retractable rotary volume knob. Log on to www.clarion.co.uk or call 01793 870400 for more details.
