BMW

20th August 2006

Three is the magic number for BMW. The German firm has added a trio of new engines - including its 3.0-litre twin-turbodiesel - to the 3-Series range.

Priced at £32,995, the 335d has 286bhp and can sprint from 0-60mph in around six seconds, yet still returns an impressive 38mpg.

Also joining the line-up are two other fresh six-cylinder cars; a 325d oil-burner and 335i petrol, which is twin turbocharged and packs 306bhp. These models cost from £27,310 and £30,940 respectively.
