Not all Pandas are soft and cuddly, judging by the exclusive pictures in this week's mag of Fiat's new hot hatch. The mean and racy Panda Sport was snapped being delivered to a Fiat dealership on the Continent.
The most obvious changes are the big bumpers, flared wheelarches and racy alloys. At the front, large honeycomb grilles, a ground-hugging spoiler and twin spotlights create a tough look.
The extended arches hide a wider track which, together with uprated suspension, should result in sharper handling. Under the bonnet lies a 100bhp 1.4-litre petrol engine, which will help the car record a 0-60mph time of less than 10 seconds. The Panda Sport is revealed at the Paris Motor Show next month, and will go on sale early in 2007 priced at around £10,000.
