Huge new motorhome has space for holiday runaround in undercarriage

German manufacturer Volkner has created a new storage system for Volvo and Mercedes tourers which allows buyers to park their cars under the campers and simply drive away. A five-metre-long loading sled, which is stored neatly between the front and rear wheels of the huge vehicle, slides out to fit a small runaround, such as a Mercedes SLK.


	The new motorhome was unveiled to amazed road trip fans at the Düsseldorf Caravan Show. It's compatible with a variety of models, including the BMW Z4, MINI Convertible and Smart Roadster

Once the motor is parked, the sled simply retracts and is locked into the undercarriage. So there's no need to tow the car on holiday - it's kept dry and secure. This home-and-garage on wheels isn't on sale yet, but potential buyers can expect to pay in the region of £150,000 when it arrives.
