Tune in to your favourite music with the CarLink FM Stereo transmitter from Proporta

By Simon McBride

10th September 2006

Tune in to your favourite music with the CarLink FM Stereo transmitter from Proporta. It’s a small, portable device which lets you listen to any MP3 player on a car radio. It plugs into a standard 3.5mm (1/4 inch) stereo output and transmits to a radio frequency of your choice. The digital display shows you the station you’re tuned into or a built-in clock.

If you experience interference from local stations, tuning the stereo and changing the frequency is straightforward thanks to the clear backlit screen. And the CarLink can be powered by either an internal battery or via a 12v power socket or cigarette lighter with the cable provided.

The small, lightweight unit attaches to your dashboard with velcro, and costs £24.95. For more information, click on www.proporta.com or telephone 0845 123 2848.
