JAPAN: Tokyo scientists have built an on-board computer that asks questions and squirts water at drivers if their answers imply they're dozing off at the wheel.

ARGENTINA: Pensioner Jose Orono is suing a garage which has been fixing his Fiat 500 for six years. The Buenos Aires outfit told him repairs would take two weeks.

AUSTRIA: A man ended his lunchtime 19th birthday celebrations by accidentally smashing into a Vienna pizza restaurant when his foot slipped off the clutch.
