BMW performance partner Alpina has announced details of its latest model, the D3, which is equipped with the most powerful 2.0-litre diesel available.
The firm has worked on the 320d saloon, boosting output from 163bhp to 200bhp to make it the first 100bhp-per-litre diesel. Costing £26,995, the D3 is available through BMW dealers - but only 100 right-hand-drive cars will come to the UK this year.
