Powerhouse CL63 AMG gets subtle styling tweaks to help mark it out from less potent models in the range.
26th September 2006
Meet the new CL63 AMG, which packs 525bhp and a huge 631Nm of torque into its 6.2-litre V8. These figures mean a 0-60mph sprint time of 4.6 seconds, while the top speed is limited to 155mph.
Constructed entirely of aluminium, the CL's motor is currently the most potent of its kind in the world. A seven-speed auto transfers power to the rear wheels. The big coupé will be at the Paris Motor Show, standing out from the range thanks to bespoke bumpers, side skirts and large twin oval exhausts.
