Redylight Torch

With the nights getting longer, carrying a glovebox torch is a good idea – especially one which never needs batteries

24th September 2006

As its name suggests, the Redylight is always set to go, because it needs nothing more than a few cranks on the handle to get its five LED bulbs blazing.

A minute’s winding will give more than an hour’s light – or nearly twice that if only one of the five LEDs is used. There’s also a handy strap to aid you in those night time underbonnet emergencies. And it won’t just help get your car going, as it can revive your Nokia mobile phone, too: a minute’s wind gives about seven minutes’ talk time.

The Redylight Torch usually costs £19.99, but Auto Express readers can get one for a special price of £17.99 until 20 October by quoting AERFDM10 when they order.
