Auto Express has clearly brushed up on its colours! We recently reported how silver’s dominance was on the wane (Used cars, Issue 921), and this has been confirmed by paint giant DuPont. Its experts predict a gradual shift towards brighter choices, with blue and red both set to gain popularity. Bold hues such as orange and bright yellow – traditionally popular with small, sporty models – are also gaining wider acceptance.
