Citroen's latest C5 will be the torque of the town

Citroen's latest C5 will be the torque of the town. Fitted with a new 2.2-litre HDi diesel, it is now the fastest car in the range.

The 173bhp model covers 0-60mph in 8.5 seconds and hits 138mph, while still returning a claimed 46mpg. It uses a parallel sequential turbo, and delivers 370Nm of torque. Prices start from £17,790 for the VTX+ hatch.
