Chauffeur signs go digital

Chauffeurs meeting poeple in airport arrival lounges will have high-tech support soon

02nd October 2006

Airport arrival lounges will never look the same again. The army of chauffeurs holding up hand-written signs to get their clients' attention are going all hi-tech! A new British invention is replacing scruffy placards with a modern electronic version.

Set to take the travel industry by storm, the electronic Limoseen sign is an A4-sized digital display board designed to help chauffeurs and tour guides meet their customers. Costing from £74.95, the versatile unit can carry messages up to 256 characters long, and even has enough space at the bottom to display a company name or logo.

Made in Blackpool, Lancs, by Carrig Electronics, the Limoseen is set to be sold around the world. The meet-and-greet aid is available with a range of accessories, such as an in-car charger and a window cradle for drivers who cannot leave their vehicle unattended.

Chauffeur Digital Sine

Hello I am interested in getting more information regarding the Chauffeur sign from Carrig Electronics. Can you kindly forward me information? I am a transportation company and we are looking to upgrade our meet & greet person by going away with hand written sighs to digital signs. My email address is accounts@beelinetransportltd.com. Thank you
