Too little price differential in Jaguar's product list could impact on the used market

The prestige manufacturer’s cracking new XKR is fast and refined, but it’s not much more expensive than the standard car – and that’s bad news for the model on which it’s based.

Many owners of the XK (image) are expected to trade in their nearly new vehicles for the more powerful R variant, which will have a negative effect on early residual values.
