'Off-peak' insurance cover

Pay as you go insurance may save you money

Norwich Union has launched its Pay As You Drive insurance policy, claiming it could save motorists up to 30 per cent on premiums.

Drivers covering less than 8,000 miles a year and avoiding peak times will save most. A version will also be tailored for young drivers aged 18-24, who will be encouraged to avoid night-time journeys.
