Range burner names its price

Land Rover has announced prices for the new Range Rover Sport V8 diesel. Due on sale in January, the big oil-burner starts at £53,120 in luxurious HSE guise.

Adding oak and leather cabin trim and 20-inch alloy wheels, the HST is £59,020. The 272bhp engine offers 40 per cent more power than the existing V6, but is claimed to return 25.5mpg.
