Two local authorities have put a limit on how long memorials to car crash victims can be left by the side of the road.
Shrines in East and West Sussex will now be removed 12 weeks after the date of an accident, while permanent memorials have been banned.
The councils say the memorials are a roadside distraction and a danger to the attendees.
