Lexus freshens its supercar

Nissan isn't the only firm developing a monster supercar - Lexus is at it, too!

A new version of the LF-A concept will debut at the Detroit Motor Show in January with fresh lights and jet engine-shaped rear radiator ducts. It features a 500bhp V10. Meanwhile, Toy­ota will reveal a racy V6 hybrid at next October's Tokyo expo.

Meaanwhile, Lexus has beaten its previous full-year sales record – in just nine months. The fast growing luxury brand roared past its previous 12 month record of 11,335 – set in 2001 – before the end of a record September.
