Electric chair is Suzuki cell star

It's a wheelchair - but it's powered by the same fuel as a drag racer!

Suzuki has developed this fuel cell chair that carries a small tank of methanol, instead of the usual pressurised container of hydrogen.

The cell extracts the gas from the methanol and generates electricity to power the motor. The chair can travel 25 miles on less than a gallon of methanol, and its only emission is water vapour.

Dubbed the Mio, it hits a top speed of 6mph. Large armrests double as safety barriers, and an LCD panel displays the range.
