Hum deal as H3 heads for UK

It's official... Hummer's H3 is on its way to the UK. Production of the mid-sized SUV has started in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, and right-hand-drive cars will be ready in mid-2007.

Visitors to July's British Motor Show were among the first to see the H3 in the UK. It has a 3.5-litre five-cylinder engine with 240bhp and 305Nm of torque. The car is also the first Hummer to offer a choice of manual and automatic gearboxes. Prices are expected to start from £26,000.
