Andare Attivo

A group of British designers, led by the man who penned the Jaguar XJ220 supercar, has turned its attention from wheels to keels - with a plan to build boats.

This is the Andare Attivo, a low-cost leisure craft for use on lakes and rivers. XJ220 designer Keith Helfet and his team claim the 3.5-metre long electric boat is ideal for marine novices. Due to launch in summer 2007, the budget vessel should cost around £10,000.
