What could be better to hang your Renault race jacket from than a coat rack built from a wheel and driveshaft bits?
The Formula One season may come to an exciting climax in Brazil shortly, but you don’t have to wait until next year for another fix, as you can now have a bit of GP history in your home. Renault has taken apart Fernando Alonso’s 2005 title-winning car to create the F1 Collection range of household kit.

Yes, here’s your chance to light up your living vroom – with a £7,000 exhaust lamp! Or why not replace the picture you never liked with a framed four-layered race suit? It also costs £7,000, and you can choose the event where it was used and who wore it. And if you fancy dumping the coffee table, another £7,000 will secure part of a front wing in a case (image).

To make sure not to mark the glass, choose coasters made out of the wheel speed sensors from the front and rear uprights, at £500 for two. There’s even a flower vase created from a suspension wishbone at £1,400! Or what about a £2,300 table lamp, fashioned from gearbox parts, or a bit of art sculpted from an exhaust?

Finally, what could be better to hang your Renault race jacket from than a coat rack built from a wheel and driveshaft bits? It’ll set you back £3,200. Clearly such prices are only for the super-rich, but even if you can’t afford them, check out the full amazing collection on the Renault website.
