Belongings left for criminals to take

A survey reveals drivers still aren't covering up their belongings when leaving their cars

The message isn’t getting through to motorists – and criminals are taking advantage. A new survey by Post Office Car Insurance found UK drivers leave £3.3billion worth of valuables locked in their vehicles. Music CDs and clothing are the most common things left unattended. The firm has warned owners to hide or remove items to reduce the chance of a break-in.
