Clio powers up

Renault has announced a big, new heart for its Clio. The three-door Dynamic S gets the 138bhp 2.0-litre petrol unit already in the firm's Mégane and Laguna.

With 0-60mph in only 8.5 seconds, its performance is approaching hot hatch territory. Air-con, part-leather trim and keyless entry are standard on the car, due in showrooms next month, priced from £12,810.
