Deuce gets juices flowing

It might look like it's seen some action in its time, but this very special hot rod is actually brand new

Paid for and built by specialists at Ford, the two-seat custom car was created to support a charity in the USA.

Named the 75th Anniversary Dearborn Deuce, the car has the bodywork of one of America's most famous hot rods, but a couple of tricks up its sleeve.

Most obvious is the new 4.6-litre quad cam V8, but there is also Kugel indepen­dent front and rear suspension and a convertible top. It will be auctioned for a children's charity.
