Bond's premium cover

007's dare-devil driving antics and lifestyle make him a high insurance risk

James Bond would have to save some of his winnings from Casino Royale to pay for the insurance on his Aston Martin DBS.

Virgin Car Insurance has calculated his premium would cost £7,108 per year, with a £3,000 excess. They worked out the quote based on 007's age -38 - his 'cover' occupation 'export consultant', and extras including rockets. The premium is twice that of the average Aston owner.
