Cadillac SLS

28th November 2006

What do you buy if Cadillac's STS isn't big enough? How about this SLS? Based on the US brand's sporty BMW 5-Series rival, the limo is 100mm longer than standard, featuring more rear legroom

Inside, luxuries include leather electric seats, TV screens and fold-out tables. It's been designed specifically for China, which has a large market for chauffeur-driven cars, and will be built at Cadillac's Shanghai plant. Under the bonnet are options of 2.8-litre and 3.6 V6 engines, with the range topped by the Northstar 320bhp 4.6 V8. As well as the SLS, Cadillac will also launch the giant Escalade SUV in China next year.
