Following on from the R36, the firm unveiled the 4x4 concept at the
Beijing Motor Show in China - and inspiration clearly comes from sister company Audi's Allroad.
The Neeza points towards a future Passat-based crossover model, and is fitted with a trademark VW grille up front and LED tail-lights. Other innovations include rear-hinged back doors and a panoramic glass roof, which is tinted to prevent occupants from getting too hot in the cabin.
Inside, there are a variety of seating arrangeĀments, as the front chairs rotate through 360 degrees, while the traditional rear view mirror is replaced by a reversing camera to aid visibility.
And the latest electronic on-board entertainment appears, too. Equipment includes a television screen for the rear passengers plus an integrated hard drive, on which owners can store their music and videos. The Neeza badge is inspired by a mystical Chinese figure.
