Manning claims IndyCar return ticket

British interest in the IndyCar series is set to grow as Darren Manning returns to the US championship

The 31-year-old Englishman, dropped by front-line outfit Ganassi in 2005, has landed a deal with the team owned by Indy legend AJ Foyt for 2007. “Next year will be big for us,” said Foyt. “We are determined to improve our programme and hire a driver with circuit and oval experience. Darren fits the bill. He runs hard, and wants to win as much as I do.”
