BMW 7-Series

While it doesn't look much like it now, this BMW is set to put executive buyers in seventh heaven next year. That's because it's the German maker's all-new flagship saloon, set to boast more space than ever when it's revealed at September's Frankfurt Motor Show.

Development of the new 7-Series is well underway, as this prototype proves. A larger platform - to underpin BMW's forthcoming crossover V5, as well as the baby Rolls-Royce - means it won't be short on legroom. It will be more conservatively styled than at present, though, with a front end taken from the 6-Series. Sales start in 2008.
