Brake disc safety

A report has indicated aftermarket brake discs can be dangerous

A shocking 40 per cent of aftermarket brake discs contain serious defects, according to Italian performance specialist Brembo. The firm tested 5,000 randomly selected discs from across Europe, and found a shocking number of manufacturing faults. A director for the firm is calling for European legislation to govern disc quality – much like there is for brake pads.
