Seven days to Tri out Scooby...

A week might be a long time in politics, but it flies by on a test drive. Perhaps that's why Subaru is offering an amazing seven-day trial of its new Tribeca 4x4.

For the next six months, potential customers will be able to sample, for up to a week, one of 100 of the new SUVs to be sent out to the firm's UK dealers.

The company is aiming high and targeting the special offer at drivers of rival prestige machines, including the BMW X5, Porsche Cayenne and Volvo XC90.

"We believe the best way of establishing the Tribeca is to let people drive it," said Harvey France, Subaru's national fleet manager.
