Friends reunited in Ireland and drink-driver does deal in France

Ireland: Cabbie John Tomlinson picked up a fare at Dublin Airport, only to discover it was a school friend he hadn't seen for 46 years.

CANADA: Vancouver police are issuing speeding tickets to roller skaters who break the 9mph limit. "We mean business," said one cop.

FRANCE: Artist Françoise Welcomme from Avignon had his drink-driving charge dropped after he agreed to paint a road safety picture for public display.
