Cops move upmarket

Forget the 3-Series and 5-Series - how about a BMW 999-Series?

Hampshire Police has switched to the German firm in an exclusive arrangement to supply its force's traffic cars. The constabulary, which has used BMWs in the past, has ordered 19 new 3- and 5-Series cars and four X5 3.0d SUVs as part of the deal.
