It’s time for a change! The MINI ‘cuckoo’ clock – part of the maker’s range of cool accessories – has been given a face­lift to coincide with the arrival of the new hatchback.

As you’d expect, all the action is still on the hour, but now a detailed, 1:93-scale, Chili Red MINI sets off on a quick trip out around the clock’s facia, accompanied by engine and horn sounds. The cheeky supermini is ‘parked’ in a see-through garage, and is ready to go when the time is right.

The clock costs £69.95, and aims to follow in the wheel­tracks of its popular predecessor, which has managed over 10,000 sales since the 2001 launch of the BMW baby.
