Here's a GTI to sleigh its rivals...

Formerly the master of the hot hatch sector, VW's GTI has moved on to performance sledges

If you've had to put your plans to buy a new car on ice, this little model  could be well worth a look. It's Volks­wagen's new GTI sledge!

Nylon runners cut resistance for greater speed, the steering wheel and turning front ski give total control and there's even a set of metal brakes at the rear. Out now in Europe, the GTI sledge costs £72.
