The Chinese motor industry is addressing car safety more seriously

C-NCAP test

It's not only new cars that the booming Chinese auto industry is creating... it has also devised its own safety trials with a C-NCAP test.

The Chinese New Car Assessment Programme is the brainchild of the China Automotive Technology and Research Center. Modelled on the Euro NCAP system, it's been set up in response to a number of poor performances by Chinese motors.
